Launch in 1998

AXA Assistance Maroc is launched to support the roadside assistance activity for AXA Morocco and develop travel insurance in Morocco

2005-2010

Launch of the first partnerships in West and East Africa

2022

Entry of a new majority shareholder in AXA Assistance Maroc
Mehdi Tazi, former CEO of Saham Group, becomes the main shareholder of AXA Assistance Maroc, while AXA Morocco remains an important shareholder

2025

Rebranding of AXA Assistance Maroc to become Cover Edge.

Establishment of a new location in Mauritius with Cover Edge RE, expanding our presence in the East African region.
